Breast cancer

Although 1 in 8 women develop breast cancer during their lifetime, 80 percent of the cases occur after the age of fifty, and more than 47 percent are diagnosed in women over the age of 65.

Both genetic (10 percent) and/or environmental (85 percent) factors have been identified.

As this is one of the most common forms of cancer, certain symptoms are well-known and can be quickly diagnosed for treatment.
