Partial duplication of the short arm of chromosome X

Commonly referred to as trisomy X or 47, XXX, this chromosomal disease occurs during the division of parental gametes.

As is the case with 47, XYY trisomy, physical appearance is normal but learning difficulties have been widely observed.
