The care pathway provided to patients in hospitals is adapting to the growing place of digital technology in our daily lives. Instead of remaining focused exclusively on hospital staff, hospitals are reinventing themselves to become the connected hospital of tomorrow, taking the patient more and more into account.

Once the care has been provided, a follow-up of a few days is required to ensure that no complications have arisen. Currently, the patient remains in the hospital under observation for up to a few days to ensure the evolution of his state of health.

Doctor/patient exchange platforms are developing allowing remote monitoring. These new methods allow doctors to see their patient’s state of health in real time and thus to arrange an appointment only if necessary. This new process generates a lot of data unfortunately nearly 80% of the information collected is not well enough listed to be usable.
